This position works under the direct supervision of the Manager of Athletic Facilities and will plan and supervise the maintenance staff of all athletic facilities including Conte Forum, Alumni Stadium, Recreation Complex, Shea Field and the Newton Campus athletic facilities. In addition to the daily care and general maintenance, this position will be expected to manage athletic and university events, including game events, basketball floor operations, commencement, concerts and other university functions.

Although this is primarily a supervisory role, on many occasions this position will be required to perform some physically demanding tasks. This position will need to assist our staff with such items as: portable floor operations, trash after functions/games/events, relocation of metal barricades, snow shoveling and salting, repairing of small engines and technical troubleshooting of athletic equipment and machines, as well as many other facility maintenance issues. This position will be required to be outside in the elements a good portion of assigned shifts.
